About us
Head for Arts was set up in April 2008 as a new community arts organisation for the Heads of the Valleys (East).
It covers the whole of the county boroughs of Blaenau Gwent and Merthyr Tydfil, the Upper Rhymney Valley in Caerphilly and from Trevethin up in Torfaen.
Head for Arts is funded by the Welsh Assembly Government through the Arts Council of Wales and is supported by a partnership of the four local authorities involved.
